My car seems to have trouble staring but only in the first time of the day that i turn it on . (its been like this for a week)
The weather is 30 C, so cold weather isn't the problem, The starter hears that it does its work as it should, but it has to crank more time than usual (Today it was 2 sec). Once it was on, i turned it off after 5 seconds and tried again, and this time it turned on instantly.

I'd say check the ignition system, Spark plugs, Fuel, or it could even be timing.

are you using a crank start or is this a more modern car. while the image is cool, it would be nice for some clarification

You got the escape! And I was thinking that maybe the fuel pump wasnt letting in enough fuel, causing the engine to need to be primed

Check the battery voltage.
Cold cranking amps could be pretty low depending on age. You can have autozone or advanced auto test it for free.
If not the battery, then spark coil, plug wires, plugs.

What make/model is it? Sounds like it's taking a little longer to prime the fuel system. I had a car once that would do that, but take up to 30 seconds if it sat overnight. The fuel pump shutoff valve wasn't closing, and allowed fuel to leak back into the tank. When your pump isnt running theres a valve thats supposed to close to keep fuel in the lines and injectors so it will be there the next time you crank the engine. If it doesn't close all the way your fuel system leaks down and loses pressure, requiring extra time to build pressure again. Try turning the ignition to the on position, back to off, and then crank it. That will give the fuel pump an extra cycle to prime.

That was my hypothesis exactly. Or he owns the car in the photo and he has to put more oomph into his crank starting.

Is it a diesel? On certain diesel cars (like mine) the starter motor isn't quite good enough to turn over such a high compression engine. That means it can take a few cranks after a night of sitting because if the battery condition isn't perfect it's not strong enough to start it.

it is a 2008 4.0 rustang. Very few miles... well km. 24,700. I think this is what could be happening. Because the starter and the battery work perfect. Once it starts the first time of the day. It starts EZ.

the problem must be in the spark coil or plugs because the starter cranks good but the engine wont run immideately.

Because battery and starter work fine. The issue is that they take time to make the engine run alone.

Sounds like the fuel pump priming then as other have said. Try changing the fuel filter.

Yeah thats how mine was. It only did it if the car sat for several hours. It could also be a leaky injector allowing the system to lose pressure.

I believe it to be the starter motor actually. I had a car once it hesitated a little on two starts, then after that the starter motor died.

That reminds me, my fuel filter could really do with changing too...
